Should we put our notes online before or after next class, or does it matter? Thanks! Lindsay

I'll not be able to put notes online before - maybe we'll have the discussion first, yet if you take your notes using a computer feel free to do it as you like. It will be convenient, if people can see what others found - while still reading... --Olaf Simons 12:38, 3 November 2007 (CET)

Hi,

Dealing with another problem: Lost the login for the pdf. I can remember the password but not the login. If someone could send it to me via mail (Jenshagemann@gmx.net), she or he would have my gratitude :) Will otherwise manage to read the last pages at the library. (And if you ever think of installing VISTA....just don't! Cost me me half a day to undo what it did to my poor little machine.) take care, Jens

Two sessions for Mercier - 4 for Shelley?

Ich finde es eine gute Idee, mehr Zeit für "The Last Man" zu lassen. --Lindsay 14:36, 23 November 2007 (CET)

On Mercier and Foucault

I posted some notes I took while comparing Mercier's text with Foucault's Überwachen und Strafen. I'm not sure if contributions like this are what we are expected to do here, so feel free to delete it if necessary. The last bit about the plague may or may not come in handy when reading Shelley's novel, so I thought it was worth mentioning. --Christian Heinen 15:13, 28 November 2007 (CET)

Perfect, we shall discuss your statements in class - very much appreciated. --Olaf Simons 15:29, 28 November 2007 (CET).
