  1. Analyse the narration in the story you have chosen and describe its chief characteristics. (Pay attention to the points mentioned on the Narratology handout.) What is special about the narrative mode in this story? (30 points)
  2. Who are the most important characters in the story and how are they characterised? Relate your findings to your observations on narration. (30 points)
  3. Discuss the story in relation to at least two of the following topics (30 points): Gender Relations / Social Norms / Nationality / Ambiguity
  4. Briefly relate aspects of this story to one or several other texts that have been covered in the seminar. (10 points)
