Hi! I'm an Exchange Student! ... Exciting! ... I'll come up with something more interesting later. Bryon Burzynski 14:18, 3 May 2008 (CEST)

a pleasure to have you on board! If you want to include pictures (you draw...) - I can do that (they have restricted the upload function I am afraid, to keep us out of copyright infringements). --Olaf Simons 09:29, 5 May 2008 (CEST)
Your blog is the best thing in the morning. --Olaf Simons 10:31, 8 May 2008 (CEST)
Your writing reminds me a little bit of Bill Bryson.Cheerz! --Jessika Thiele 16:46, 12 May 2008 (CEST)

If you already feel like Samuel Clemens you'll probably also like his Rant about the German language. --Nico Zorn 23:40, 21 May 2008 (CEST)

Hello Bryon, I cannot take your loneliness at night honestly but if you need someone to try your German or wanna discuss your problems maybe I can help you. Unfortunately am not that much socially active (like going to clubs or hanging out with friends all the time) but in my eyes loneliness actually shouldnt be a problem for someone like you.You came here to enjoy yourself and not only play Sonic or watch the rain. There are many places to discover in here...use your time and try to explore as much as you can. Cheerz --Jessika Thiele 18:58, 25 May 2008 (CEST)

Who am I to turn down any invitation? But for the record, I just like watching the rain (regardless of mood), plus my window here is so much better for sitting in and watch the rain than any I've had before, with the possible exception of my room in Tübingen. My main gripe is that all the people I do my soul-searching (and vice-versa) with are 5,000 kilometers away and no matter how many people are around If you're missing that part of your life it tends to suck, and I haven't really met anyone here yet to fill the deep-emotional-trust void... BUT, I'm getting out every day it's not like I spend all my day in my room moping, I'm enjoying myself at about 85% percent efficiency, I should think. I know it should be 100%, but ... I have lost my train of thought. --Bryon Burzynski 19:59, 25 May 2008 (CEST)

Soul-searching you can do everywhere in this world and you hopefully find out that seeking is also exciting in other countries. No one will ever force you to forget your beloved ones...still you can maybe give a chance to yourself to widen your horizones. 100% we cannot reach anyway but 99%... --Jessika Thiele 20:27, 25 May 2008 (CEST)

I Like to think I've been opening my horizons. I've now watched "Futurama" on two continents. But I would argue we all have moments of operating at 100% efficiency. --Bryon Burzynski 21:22, 26 May 2008 (CEST)

Is watching Futurama on two continents your whole 100% effiency? --Jessika Thiele 11:55, 27 May 2008 (CEST)

It might be, When I haven't got an other care in the world. I think I might be using the wrong terminology, but everyone has those things that when they do them they feel like nothing can get them down... but mostly I was joking. --Bryon Burzynski 17:23, 27 May 2008 (CEST)

As long as you feel good with it it's alright...has been a while that I watched Futurama --Jessika Thiele 20:55, 28 May 2008 (CEST)

well, It's not like it's the ONLY thing I do, I'm seeing the sights, It's just that I find myself with downtime here and there. It's a very good show. I have some of the videos, but you can also watch it online on some websites (one I found was something like www.watchxonline.com or something, but I forget the exact link, I'd need to search for it again.) But all that is pretty irrelevant. anyhoo, we got on about Futurama and I never heard back from you about helping me with my German... --Bryon Burzynski 14:12, 1 June 2008 (CEST)

Sorry, I did not have time for anything lately...this week also looks pretty bad and weekend too. I saw one of my friends took a very cute and simple English learning book from library...actually it was for Germans who wanna learn English but the other way round also may serve the purpose. But thats mainly for the vocabulary...I will see when I got some time for some spoken German. Cheerz! --Jessika Thiele 20:13, 1 June 2008 (CEST)

Though Piano man is pretty nice for sure, you should try Leningrad by Billy Joel --Jessika Thiele 21:03, 4 July 2008 (CEST)

- My absolute favorite is "The Longest Time" ... but that's for my own sentimental reasons. I'll take your advice and give it a listen as soon as possible, though. for sure. --Bryon Burzynski 01:46, 5 July 2008 (CEST)

hey, when do you leave?! ...I should send you a bottle of Bavarian beer (that's where I am at this moment) as my thanks for the entertainment and dayly encouragement you provided (oh - of course, I'd like to hear how they will - looking for a word - dich resozialisieren (wikipedia gives rehabilitation as equivalent - entirely wrong) - you will most certainly need a Resozialisierung (that's what we do to prisoners...). There were (you know) some more words I badly need - which you could begin to invent and introduce into your mother tongue so that I can safely use them: übersichtlich (auch unübersichtlich) and Erkenntnisgewinn... the Finnish are said to have imported German Fingerspitzengefühl (probably because they had not the necessary Fingerspitzengefühl or a surplus of ü's), I do not need an English equivalent for that but the other two? Indeed, I'd like to hear what it is like to come home. Your experiences and views have always been fun to read, best --Olaf Simons 20:06, 22 July 2008 (CEST)
