There are two main strands of the plot. On the one hand the lama's search for the river and on the other hand the Great Game.

The quest of the Red Bull can be seen as a trigger for his further quests. If the Red Bull was Kim’s only quest the book would have had only five chapters. At the end of chapter five he finds the Red Bull and follows the Great Game. Also he joined the lama on his Spiritual Journey maybe for his own proposes but this is not explicitly said.

Ja, nur wenn einem immer nur die Wartungsseite gezeigt wird, während die Seminare sich füllen....das ist etwas deprimierned.

Das ging auch nur bis eben, so ca. bis halb 10, aber auch eher schlecht als recht. Ich denke, dass jetzt keiner mehr rein kommt. Wird schon irgendwie klappen. Also sieht jeder nun die hübsche Wartungsseite mit den roten großen Lettern.

Alle Bm5 sind voll und es gibt keine Warteliste...ich habe versucht einen Dozenten per mail wegen eines Platzes anzufragen, aber der ist verreist. Was kann ich sonst noch machen?

Also ich war gerade bei stud.ip und es sind nur drei BM5 Veranstaltungen voll. Es gibt noch jede Menge Plätze, auch zu guten Zeiten (also nicht nur Freitags...

*Furthermore, regarding task no. 5... are we allowed to compare the sonnet to a poem that was not in the poetry reader? Can it actually be any poem which seems appropriate for a comparison and how shall we quote from that? Do I have to give a "Quellennachweis"?

It would go beyond the estimated work load to look for any other poem which could offer an apt comparison but we do not ban anyone for reading more poetry than we provide in our lectures. If you use other poems, please indicate your sources (cf [[style sheet]]). Additionally, you can also attach a copy of that poem with your assignment. Is it possible that a poem does not have one particular meter, actually none? And is it possible that a poem consists of a rhyme schmeme mixture of a Petrarchan Sonnet and an English Sonnet? Thanks!

And do we have to write an complet text or can we just answer to every single question?
