I will, however, hold office hours every two weeks starting April 7, 10-12 ending June 18, 10-12. These are meant for students who want to discuss last semester's course work with me or for those in whose final examinations I am involved in one way or another.

'''BUDDIES NEEDED'''

We need "Buddies" -
*for students coming from the USA to an intensive German course July 20-August 8th, and
*for students coming from GB and the USA in the Winter term, arriving from the beginning of September onwards.

In both cases the students will have housing. What they need is someone to show them around the university and the town and help them get settled and explain how things work here. Buddies are volunteers.

This is part of the internationalization initiative here in the English Department – Please remember that international contacts are a vital part of any modern course of studies.

If there are questions, please contact me - robert.mclaughlin@uni-oldenburg.de, tel. 798-2341 (SS Wed. 10-13).

Students who are interested should fill out a form available from the Department office, from me by e-mail or on my door.
