• 2007-08 BM1 Introduction to the Critical and Scholarly Discussion of Literature, Part 1
• 2007 BM1 Introduction to Literature, Part 2

Requirements, Portfolio

1. Regular participation.
2. A Portfolio consisting of six distinct assignments to be completed in the course of the entire academic year. All six assignments are obligatory. They will be rated as follows:

Part 1

• Exzerpt eines primär- und eines Sekundärtexts (unbenotet) (due on 15 Jan 2008)
• Written Test (22 Jan 2008) - 40% of the final mark

Part 2

• 3 Exercises in Textual Analysis (on poetry, fiction and drama) - 40% of the final mark
• Research paper project (title, bibliography, outline, summary of argument) - 20% of the final mark
