Should we put our notes online before or after next class, or does it matter? Thanks! Lindsay

I'll not be able to put notes online before - maybe we'll have the discussion first, yet if you take your notes using a computer feel free to do it as you like. It will be convenient, if people can see what others found - while still reading... --Olaf Simons 12:38, 3 November 2007 (CET)

Hi,

Dealing with another problem: Lost the login for the pdf. I can remember the password but not the login. If someone could send it to me via mail (Jenshagemann@gmx.net), she or he would have my gratitude :) Will otherwise manage to read the last pages at the library. (And if you ever think of installing VISTA....just don't! Cost me me half a day to undo what it did to my poor little machine.) take care, Jens

Two sessions for Mercier - 4 for Shelley?

Ich finde es eine gute Idee, mehr Zeit für "The Last Man" zu lassen. --Lindsay 14:36, 23 November 2007 (CET)

On Mercier and Foucault

I posted some notes I took while comparing Mercier's text with Foucault's Überwachen und Strafen. I'm not sure if contributions like this are what we are expected to do here, so feel free to delete it if necessary. The last bit about the plague may or may not come in handy when reading Shelley's novel, so I thought it was worth mentioning. --Christian Heinen 15:13, 28 November 2007 (CET)

Perfect, we shall discuss your statements in class - very much appreciated. --Olaf Simons 15:29, 28 November 2007 (CET).
PS: Open an account with your first and last name and blank in between, you can then sign with ~~~~ to get a signature with link to your personal page. Your signature will also connect all your edits with your personal pages.
Works perfectly. Thank you! Christian Heinen 15:47, 28 November 2007 (CET)
edit: Now I understand. I'll create a new account with my real name later. Thanks! Christian Heinen 15:58, 28 November 2007 (CET)

I am Legend

Can't be there to watch the OV, promised a friend to proof read her work. Needs it tomorrow :/ sry. Jens 15:35, 14 January 2008 (CET)

The Time Machine

Did we decide that we are going to meet tomorrow (Tuesday) to watch the movie? --Lindsay 10:30, 11 February 2008 (CET)

Jenna said that would be her plan. I need to know beforehand so that I'll have the video projector at home (an may be something to eat...) --Olaf Simons 12:11, 11 February 2008 (CET)
Would love to watch the movie, actually was looking forward to it, but it's not possible today. Have fun with the Time Machine! Christian Heinen 18:08, 12 February 2008 (CET)
I would be free for the evening and would like to watch it. Jens 18:05, 11 February 2008 (CET)
So it will be - around 19.30 at my place? --Olaf Simons 18:35, 11 February 2008 (CET)
I'll be there too. Sounds good. --Lindsay 19:24, 11 February 2008 (CET) -- Fine with me. See you there. Jens 12:56, 12 February 2008 (CET)
