From Angl-Am
Your Blog
Hi Jennifer,
I have just moved your lines to Angl-Am:Community Portal - that is where people get to if they click at "Community Portal" left hand side. I also added (on that page) some lines to introduce you - may be you add something - like your semester or what kind of courses you are taking over here. --Olaf Simons 10:21, 24 April 2007 (CEST)
- And now I have simplified the Blog-Archive - you get a page for the complete sequence of your blog. How many people have read your lines today? The counter on the community portal page is at 469 this moment - some 80 or 100, I forgot to note where we were yesterday that time. Your first edit was in any case a very interesting reading for me who just spent a week on Rutger's Campus. See you, --Olaf Simons 21:41, 24 April 2007 (CEST)
- So how should i go about posting something new? Sorry that this is kind of late; i usually would write in the evenings, but Tuesday is Pinte-night and i didn't expect to stay up so late. I promise to do twice as much work today. Thanks for your comments! Jennifer Rogers 06:41, 25 April 2007 (CEST)
- Write on Angl-Am:Community Portal - and move the text you replace into your archive on 2007-04-23 - which also I can do for you, if you feel uneasy about it. It is just that Angl-Am:Community Portal is the page that gets the readers. Have a good morning, --Olaf Simons 08:32, 25 April 2007 (CEST) (PS. I have your page on my watchlist, so you can answer here and I get the message immediately - wikis are uniquiely transparent things...)
- I - again - read your blog with great amusement (we'll do some cooking, tomorrow - tell me if you've got a special wish... or the recipe you always wanted to learn - or the cheap and traditional peasant's food of my mother's family from Hessen - or what do I know..) I shifted files (still experimenting) - I somehow feel it will be nice to finally have your complete series of observations together in one file with list of contents - things might get lost if they end in so and so many anonymous little boxes, also: one could add titles, to wet the appetite. Tell me if you want to stay on line for an extra day or two till I'll have sorted things out with other students who might join. It is really nice to hear people's voices (I mean nicer than the tedious teacher-student one way talk - we could have so many voices and vastly different perspectives...) --Olaf Simons 20:54, 26 April 2007 (CEST)
