Housewarming: A6

Dear Colleagues,

Now that most of us have managed to move from A10 to A6, and the second floor is beginning to take on a more “lived in” look, it’s time to get together and – for want of a better word – celebrate.

A number of colleagues suggested the second week of the semester would be better than the first. After contacting lots of you and checking the schedule, I settled on a day in the second week – only to find that it would be the day before the “Akkreditierung”. So how about a week later:

• Wednesday, 7th October
• 19.00
• 2nd Floor – Department Meeting Room

My apologies colleagues who are not in Oldenburg on a Wednesday (Uwe) or anyone who is teaching until 19.45 (but no doubt we’ll still be there when you’re done!).

I suggest we all make a contribution of €2 (my post box) and I’ll organise mineral water, juice, beer and wine.

Then it would be great if everyone would bring along something for the pot luck buffet (doesn’t have to be anything grand!). If you bring bread, please bring something to put on it and vice versa.

Any comments? Don’t hesitate to communicate them to me.
