Annika McPherson recently completed her PhD studies at the University of Bremen with a dissertation entitled White-Female-Postcolonial? Towards a Transcultural Reading of Marina Warner's Indigo and Barbara Kingsolver's The Poisonwood Bible. Her main interests are comparative Cultural Studies, cultural theory, contemporary literature in English and Postcolonial Studies.
